Botox Facial Treatment – A Complete Guide 2024

This entry was posted in Botox.

Dr Shahin Javaheri, a San Francisco Plastic Surgeon, is proud to introduce a game-changing facial called The Botox Glass facial. Dr Javaheri has created the perfect cocktail of Botox, vitamins, and nutrients that produce a “glass-like” effect. This glow is absolutely beautiful – never an artificial or “frozen” look. It’s a great choice for people with large pores or “orange peel” like skin. This is like no other facial, results are incomparable!

Dr. Javaheri’s unique blend of ingredients is applied during microneedling sessions and does an effective job of shrinking pores, ironing out fine lines, softening wrinkles, and tightening skin. One can begin to see results within 24 hours! This skin-rejuvenating technique is delivered through microneedling and builds collagen, plumps wrinkles, and adds a soft glow to the skin. Best of all, there’s only a one-day recovery for the Botox facial, allowing you to return to work or attend an event without skipping a beat.

To learn more about the Botox facial and if you are a candidate, schedule a consultation with Dr. Shahin Javaheri or our expert RN. In the meantime, here is some more information about “skin Botox” and what you can expect.

What is a Botox Facial?

Traditionally, Botox is injected deep into the facial muscles to smooth out deep wrinkles and folds. While Botox is effective for this purpose, these deep injections don’t do anything to affect the appearance of the skin itself. This is what makes the Botox facial different.

With this technique, Dr Javaheri prepares a cocktail of Botox, Vitamins, and Nutrients Botox is combined with a mix of vitamins and nutrients that are tailored to the individual client. For example, some clients might get hyaluronic acid to build collagen, while others opt for green tea and salicylic acid to treat acne. A number of vitamins can also be added to make the skin softer and more radiant, such as vitamins A and C.

The cocktail of ingredients is delivered beneath the surface layer of the skin using tiny needles. Unlike other procedures that take time to show results, you can expect to see shrinkage of pores, smooth fine lines/wrinkles, and improved skin within 12 to 24 hours. The full effect usually takes up to 10 days, particularly for collagen that needs time to grow. Results fade in 3-4 months.

What are the Benefits of Skin Botox?

If you’re looking for a safe and effective way to improve your skin’s appearance, you’re probably a great fit for skin Botox. Below you’ll find the benefits to expect from this non-invasive procedure.

  • Mild discomfort. Even though a Botox facial relies on tiny needles, they produce little discomfort, if any. A typical Botox injection goes deep into the skin, but the microneedles used in skin Botox do not. (They only penetrate about 0.6 millimeters into the skin.) In fact, you won’t even need a numbing cream!
  • Personalized solutions. A Botox facial allows for personalized cocktails based on your skin type. This allows us to address your skin’s problems, whether it’s shininess, acne or wrinkles.
  • No downtime. Most clients have a slightly pink face for a day or two, but this fades quickly. You can return to work and other activities right away, though we do recommend waiting a few hours before applying makeup.
  • Quick results. Most clients see results within a couple of days, with continued improvement over the next week or two. Your individual results depend on your cocktail and your skin type, though you should see fewer lines and wrinkles and an overall refreshed appearance.

If you’re looking for an alternative to a filler or injectable, we highly recommend skin Botox. This safe, effective procedure is done in our office and takes about one hour or less. With our highly qualified and experienced plastic surgeon and personalized solutions, we’re confident that we can reach your goals while eliminating unnecessary risks. Botox Facial Treatment FAQs

Is Facial Botox Safe?

Facial Botox is safe because it’s injected in small, controlled doses. Only large amounts of the active ingredient – botulinum toxin type A – can be life-threatening.

In fact, only 36 cases of adverse effects from Botox were reported between 1989 and 2003. In roughly half of these cases, an underlying health condition was more likely to blame than the Botox itself.

With this in mind, it’s important to know that Botox injections are generally very safe, particularly when used for cosmetic purposes.

How Much Does Facial Botox Cost?

On average, Botox treatments cost $550, but this number can vary dramatically depending on the area treated and the provider. Most of the time, prices are determined by the unit. A unit may only cost $10-$20, but you may need 20-30 units to cover the affected area on your face. Smaller areas are less expensive to treat because they need fewer units.

Even though lower Botox prices can be tempting, we always encourage our clients to be informed. Lower-priced Botox is often diluted and may lead to poor results, causing you to spend more money in the long run.

Who Should Not Get Botox?

There are some people who should not get Botox. These include pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and those with neurological conditions. Also, Botox does not work on all types of wrinkles. It’s important to talk to your plastic surgeon first so that you know if Botox will be effective for you.

How Long Does Botox Last?

Unfortunately, Botox doesn’t last forever. The good news is that Botox lasts between 3-4 months, so only a few treatments are needed each year to keep up the results.

Over time, the Botox wears off and the nerves start sending signals to the muscles to start working or contracting again. When this starts to happen, you’ll probably need another treatment.

What is a Good Age to Get Botox?

Most people start getting Botox around the age of 30. This is the best age because it’s when fine lines come through, though they’re not yet large folds.

That said, Botox is approved and available for people over 18, and some people start using it when they’re in their 20s. However, before age 30, there usually aren’t enough lines to warrant a Botox treatment.

Many under 30 may choose to get Botox for preventative measures as well as for jaw slimming, lip enhancements such as lip flip and to enhance nose and other features.
