This patient had the entire lower 1/3 ear (earlobe) removed because of the keloid and was reconstructed using tissue from the back of the ear. No further recurrence 6 years after surgery.
This patient also had the ear lobe reconstructed from tissue from behind the ear.
This patient was born with a “hidden” top of ear. The top of the ear was reconstructed and the hairs were permanently removed.
This patient was born with an extra cartilage.
